Member Training

The Members learning pathway offers courses and workshops for members interested in furthering their activism efforts.

Union-focused education gives members the knowledge and skills needed to navigate issues, advocate for rights, and ensure fair working conditions. Informed and educated members are better equipped to understand their contractual rights and engage in collective decision-making processes. This strengthens BCNU’s ability to protect members' interests and foster a sense of unity and solidarity, leading to improved workplace conditions and safer patient care.

Members can learn more about BCNU by attending the Building Union Strength course, attending regional workshops and joining as many interactive skill labs as they are interested in.

All members are encouraged to learn effective tools and protocols to settle their nervous systems and manage the stress and trauma in today's health-care workplace by attending the Embodying Your Practice.
