Crucial Conversations

Crucial Conversations helps stewards identify and navigate high-stakes situations by teaching dialogue skills that restore safety and foster productive communication. Learn to achieve mutual objectives with respect, making these techniques applicable in both professional and personal contexts for effective communication in critical situations.

Steward Advanced

Steward Advanced is a four-month blended learning course that includes four live sessions. It is designed as a mentorship program for BCNU stewards to reflect on the current skills and abilities they possess, and then set and achieve their personal goals to strengthen their skill set.

Steward Essentials

Steward Essentials is the foundational course in steward training aimed to create a consistent practice for steward work so you can build a cohesive steward team that is able to advocate for, and empower, members and uphold and protect the collective agreement.

Steward Intermediate

Steward Intermediate is designed to strengthen the ability of BCNU stewards to address issues in their workplaces and support BCNU members. This blended online course looks further into the need for grievance file management and the arbitration processes while introducing labour relations tenets.
